Visited from Florida. What a great experience and time warp! Very friendly waitresses and great employees! We both loved our time there! Booths at bar have old school table juke boxes. They had great drinks and food specials! Spaghetti and meat balls were tasty. Just a fun place with great employees! Will be back next time we visit town!

This place was great. My brother and I had eggplant Parmesan with pasta. I cannot explain it, but I lived in New Jersey 40 years ago and this place has a certain vibe to it it just brought me back to my childhood. I saw a lot of people eating pizza, so I'm assuming that's pretty good based on the amount of people eating it. Super friendly staff.

If you are looking for a place that's like it used to be, should be, and always will be this is your spot. Straight up old school joint. The long tenured wait staff treated us like old friends. The service was top notch. We liked it so much, we went back a second night. Our waitress from the previous night came over to say hi and told us about her day. We chatted about the cold weather with another waitress who stopped by to say hello. Good people. Now for the best part. The food is great!!! The best roast beef sandwich you will find anywhere. The fried shrimp are hand breaded, fresh and amazing. If you are not from Jersey and your looking for an authentic, old school Jersey experience, you have to stop in and enjoy.

There is a reason Anthony Bourdain loved this place. The best local joint in Atlantic City. Awesome food. Great service. Great people eating here. It's everything you hope and expect here. My goto is the anchovy spaghetti with white sauce. Pizza is awesome. The "dive bar" everyone needs in their life.

Very comfortable corner bar with a great roast beef sandwich, auju on the side for dipping. Throw in some cole slaw and fries. Tony not only works the bar but serves the booths. Speaking of booths, nice to see the small Jukeboxes around (and with Sinatra, no less). For a first timer, felt very comfortable and will definitely return. Spaghetti and meatballs might be a good idea.

They sell over five thousand meatballs a week and I can see why! Had to order more!!!! Sauce was great, bartender was a classic italian and this place felt rich with history. Any place that I can eat good food until 3am and drink a 3.50 coors light is good with me. I kept trying to order the roast beef platter but he didn't approve of my choice of sides. I tried to get clam sauce and penne with my roast beef and I was shamed. Who knows. Wanna go back someday to get that roast beef.

Best happy hour ever, awesome value. $10 bottles of wine, $6 famous roast beef and $5 homemade meatballs. 4pm to 6pm Bartenders are wonderful! Love the retro red booths.

Happy hour everyday from 4 to 6! peep the menu because its a good one (both food + drink specials, im talkin $1 mozz sticks, $2 fried shrimp). main entrance takes you to the wrap around bar with a few booths, but head to the back for the HUGE dining room. jukeboxes at every booth . its dark, its divey, but its clean. on a saturday afternoon we found the music switched frequently from mob movie classic hits to 80s/90s freestyle. its loud, but you can still have good convos. they take cards. food comes out quick, drinks can take a minute because the bar gets PACKED. get the cheese pie. its thin. minimal flop. sauce is seasoned well. eat it while its hot, letting it sit for awhile isnt good. mozz sticks were nothing special. i LOVED the fried shrimp. they are slightly sweet, gentley fried, butterflied and come with a delicious sauce. its a gross between a marinara and horseradish - never had something like this and cant believe i slept too long on it. my friend enjoyed the sauce her meatballs came in, but felt they were kinda dry. coming back within a heart beat. its such a classic spot, right to the point menu, good drinks, and an affordable place compared to other spots in AC, doesnt batter if youre winning or loosing.
